My First JAM session

I did it!I finally learned to make jam!

Strawberry Jam and its Delicious. I know that a normal person would not be this excited, but I am so far from domestic this was a big thing for me! My wonderful grandma decided she would take on the task of teaching Nicole and I!

I must say that it turned out great and I was so proud of my self, of course I had to Blog about it!

Ok so I know everyone's sick to death of hearing about Twilight and the whole series..

I'm almost finished Breaking Dawn, I like it and I don't know why. They are kind of weird but apparently they're good cause everyone and their dog has read them. I have seen this summary on a bunch of other blogs and I think its perfect! So i stole it for mine. (I'd like to still the credit but i wont).

Edward: I hate Bella.

Bella: I love Edward. Oh his eyes! What should I do? Whine, whine, whine.

Edward: OK, I don't hate you, I just have no self-control (typical guy), oh, and I want to kill you.

Bella: I love Edward. Oh his eyes! What should I do? Whine, whine, whine.

Jacob: I love Bella too, but I want to kill her. And Edward.

Edward: I want to kill Jacob.

Bella: I love Edward and Jacob. Oh their eyes! What should I do? I know, I'll lead both of them on and just whine the entire time.

So yeah so that pretty much sums it up. As cheesy as they are I lOVE them!

HELP!

OK so I got a new calling... BEEHIVE ADVISOR! I feel like I was just barely in young woman's (probably because I just was) - I'm excited but I feel a bit overwhelmed. I'm not the most creative.. so if any one has ANY ideas for activities, lessons or any fun things you have done it would be greatly appreciated! Anything you remember from your YW days, or things you have done as a leader, I need help! So please leave a comment!!

Stuck

Ok so the camping trip was great but here's why you don't camp on Sunday

Me & Shay were the last ones to leave and right as we were getting ready its started to poor! I honestly have never seen it rain that hard. Poor Shay was running around gettings things loaded up and tied down. He looked like he had jumped in a pool he was so wet. By the time we were un stuck he was through three pairs of pants and down to his pajamas. Luckly Danny and Steven came to the rescue with another truck! So we made it home but we learned why its not good to camp on sunday!

24th of July

We had so much fun!!! I don't even know where to start !
The first night up there we dutch ovened some mutton...

By the time the food was ready (after midnight) we were thrilled to eat...

The boys LOVED their mutton but as you can see Nicole was a bit disgusted by it!

After that we were more then ready for bed! Nicole said she didn't want to be "trailer trash" like the rest of us, so her and Chris slept out on their cotts.

The next day was a lot of fun.. we played a lot of games....

Bishops 21 was a big hit!

Another key point to camp was our pig

This ugly thing was the wonderful target the boys shot at. The best part was the look on peoples faces as they drove by!

We also went on a little four wheeler ride!

We had so much fun spending time doing nothing it was a great weekend..

They're Back !

This Post is for Wendy... THEY ARE BACK!

These frogs have lived in this window well forever! They were there when Wendy & Rick lived there, and they are still going strong. They must hibernate down in the leaves and when its wet enough out side they come to the top! Wendy asked me about em one day and I said they must be gone, I've been there a year and never seen them. Then the next day in the rain ... there they were! So I thought i would let everyone know they are back!!

( I would have got some more pic's but I wasn't about to touch one!)

Practice Practice

Lately we have Spent a lot of time up the mountain and its been a BLAST !

Shay would live there if he could, in fact I'm sure when the hunts start he will.. as for now hes just getting ready, and putting a little practice time in!

We are headed up there this weekend for the 24th and i cant wait! I'm determined to be better with the picture taking so we'll see!!
