UPDATE

I know its been forever, and to prevent Steph’s threats of inappropriate comments, here’s an update...I haven’t stopped posting for lack of things going on its quite the opposite. We have both been pretty busy. I just finished my first semester of nursing school. I planned on spending two years of hating life, just trying to get through. So far I have honestly LOVED it! (Given it was only the first semester) but it’s been fun! I guess I never expected school to be fun! I have a lot of fun people in my class, and that helps a lot! Shays been staying busy with work, and he’s also taking classes online.

Need less to say he did a lot of hunting this fall. And we had a great time up the mountain.

Shays been wanting an eye patch for when he uses his spotting scope. After my many failed attempts at making one, I finally found a real one for him to use. It actually worked out pretty well, and was a great source of entertainment. Shay did get a deer this year as well as Chy, but of course I don't have any pictures of them. We had a great season up the mountain, and like always, we had wonderful food.

This year everyone really got into bottled venison. I do Love venison, but bottled is another story! It might taste great but the looks of it ruins it for me. I just cant seem to make my self try it. I did try to help them make it one night, but all I could stand to do was take the pictures.

We have had a busy fun past few months. Hopefully I can do better on keeping up with whats going on.

Shay and Chris were in the process of moving the bear from one spot to another, they just happened to get a little side tracked along the way.

Of course "Teddy" had to go up stars and say hi to Mary.

Luckily he finally made it to his new destination.

Family Reunion

We just got back today from a family reunion with Shay's Fam. It was such a neat place. Its Ponderosa mountain resort and its right on the east side of Zion. It was the perfect place, there was so much to do. We stayed at a super nice cabin, and rode our four wheelers to get around. There were really nice swimming pools and we spent a lot of time there. There was so much to do; zip lines, rock climbing, paint ball, and a rec barn with all sorts of games. We all had a blast. I was sad to leave.

Update

Its been a long time and we have been staying pretty busy. We got our trailer up the mountain and have spent the last few weekends up there. It's been really nice, and I love the spot we are camped at right now. Last weekend there was a Bow shoot that the boys and Nicole went to. I'm so happy she went I actually had someone to take some Pics, thanks Cole!

Swine Flu

Is anyone else sick of hearing about the Swine Flu?

I'm defiantly ready for the big hype to pass, so the hospital can get back to normal !

FINALLY!

So after what seemed like forever, it finally came! My acceptance letter to nursing school! Now the hard part begins. I just hope I can make it through the next two years!

Alright I'm a bit late getting these posts up here but we had quite the week with two birthdays

My baby sister turned 17 on the 2nd.

Chyanne Is the most fun outgoing person I know! I hope I can be more like her when I grow up.

Chris Also had a birthday on the 5th.

My dad is such a fun person to be around. He's a great person to talk to and I'm so thankful to have such a good relationship with him.

I love you both so much and hope you had wonderful birthdays!

Painting & Popsicles

A while ago Chyanne and I painted some little Easter egg things, and since then we have felt very artistic and wanted to paint some more. Well I found a recipe for salt dough so we decided we would give that a try. Shay and my dad went to the wildlife banquet so Nicole and Chy came over and we baked the dough, ate Popsicles, and painted. It was so much fun! I love spending time with them. I'm so glad that they think I'm cool enough to hang out with< (I know that their friends/boyfriends were all out of town, or otherwise occupied)> but still I will take what I can get.

Comfort or Creepy?

So Shay is not a big fan of cuddling at night. I on the other hand, quite enjoy it. He sleeps wrapped up in his little "cocoon" and doesn't like to "let his heat out". I think I found a solution! Not to mention it would be nice for all the times hes out of town. But, I can't decide...

I think it might be a bit on the creepy side. What do you think?

Happy Birthday to You!

Shay's Birthday was yesterday. 26 years old! He's not one for parties so we didn't do anything to extreme. We just hung out and had dinner with his family. Happy Birthday Shay I love ya!

I'm a big kid now!

I did it, I joined Facebook! It's a bit wierd though, I'm not quite sure I like it yet. The whole News Feed is a bit much for me. I do like that I can find alot of people, and thats fun, but I don't know that I care to know everyone else's convos. I'm sure it just takes some getting used to. I guess we will see!

The Super Game

We had such a fun Superbowl party this year! (or super game as my grandma would say)
Sunday dinner was relocated up to Rick and Wendy's for the big game. It was a blast! TONZ of good food, fun commercials, and even a little football! The best part was the 3-D glasses, of course Wendy was prepared and had enough for every one! Rick was cheering for the Cardinals so naturally that meant I had to go for the Steelers! Which turned out great for me! Tanner and I made sure to keep him posted on the score! I was extremely happy Shay was home in time for the game! He surprised me and came home early Saturday morning, over all we had a great weekend. Here are a few pics I got! I forgot my camera so they are just from my phone and not the best quality!

It was actually pretty nice weather, while Rick BBQ'ed we all got to play with the dogs. Cash even came for a while to play with Baxter.
